Police: Two shot — one fatally — in Humboldt Park

One person was killed and another critically injured in a Humboldt Park neighborhood shooting Thursday afternoon on the West Side, police said.
Two male victims, both between 16 and 21, were standing in the 3400 block of West Chicago at 3:26 p.m. when two males dressed all in black ran up and opened fire, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police. The shooters then ran away.
Both victims were taken to Stroger Hospital, where one was pronounced dead and the other was listed in critical condition, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office could not immediately confirm the fatality.
