Man dies six years after being shot in Austin

A 38-year-old man has died of gunshot wounds suffered six years ago when he was shot in the West Side Austin neighborhood, authorities said.
Trayon Carson died at Norwegian American Hospital at 5:50 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was shot on April 27, 2010, in the 1600 block of North Menard Avenue, according to Chicago Police and the medical examiner’s office.
An autopsy Thursday found he died of complications of remote gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
Police said no arrests have been made in the case.
