Attorney: Heather Mack vomited blood in Indonesian jail

An attorney for a Chicago woman convicted in her mother’s killing while on vacation in Indonesia says she is seeking medical treatment after vomiting blood.
A statement from Heather Mack’s attorney, Michael D. Elkin, says Mack vomited blood Wednesday morning but it wasn’t known how much blood she lost. The statement says efforts were being coordinated to have Mack taken to a hospital to identify the source of the internal bleeding. Elkin says in the statement that he imagines that the incident will be nothing more than just a health scare.
